Review, Giveaway–and Brownies!

[It’s okay.  You can have more than one.]

After many gruelling trials (So many brownies! So much chocolate! All that taste-testing! Ah, the sacrifices I make in the name of food blogging), I’ve finally developed a recipe for fudgy, dense and delectable brownies that are grain-free, gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegan, stevia-sweetened and ACD-friendly. Decadence never tasted so sweet!

For the recipe, a review of the NuNaturals stevia I used, and a giveaway, click here!

Update, April 28:  The winners have been announced!  Check this post.

  • What a fantastic giveaway! Both you and the folks at NuNaturals are so generous. 🙂

As for stevia… well, I’ve never used it. That’s more because I’m a cheapskate than anything, really. But I’d absolutely love to try it!

  • Oh my lord, those brownies look amazing!

  • They really look rather good. I am sitting here with my coffee and NO breakfast as there is nothing I fancy in the flat.

  • We love brownies, we love stevia, and this recipe looks absolutely decadent. Thanks for sharing.

How gracious, this giveaway! And just the picture, alone, of your brownies is making my mouth water – I’m going to try them this weekend! Stevia is the only sweetener I’m allowed right now, and it’s been a HUGE blessing. I am almost 50 years old, and to change my diet-lifestyle has been a big challenge. One of the reasons I was so tickled to find your blog! 🙂

  • I just put some NuNaturals stevia in my tea! I’m not a huge fan of stevia, but I’m learning to like it in tea and with strawberries. I bet it’s pretty tasty in those brownies too.

  • I love NuNaturals – they are wonderful. It’s not bitter at all. I use it in everything. I’m glad that it worked in your brownies. My favorite way to use it is along side another sweetener so that I get exact sweetness I want without all of the calories.

These brownies look fantastic and sad(but that’s not your fault^~). I can’t get a few of the ingredients over here in Korea, including stevia. I actually heard that one grocery store has stevia, but I have yet to find it. When I do (and I swear I will), I will definitely be one step closer to making these delicious looking treats^^

  • Those look fantastically rich and fudgey! Heading over to see the recipe! 🙂

  • Wonderful! Cheers! Petra 🙂

  • These look incredible. Checking out that recipe now!

  • That looks like pure fudge heaven, Ricki!

  • I finally found a moment to comment on your blog. Hayden has been quite the handful lately … but I’m lovin’ every minute of it. She’s just starting to crawl.

I want some of those brownies now. Yum! Does this mean the cleanse is over. Oh wait, these are okay. Nice. you should’ve made these on your video. It was so cute.

  • I love stevia! The only problem is that it is so expensive! Can’t find out how to make a comment on the giveaway, I’m probably too late anyway, darn! I enjoy putting a pinch of stevia in chopped green salads in the food processor with garlic, lemon, salt and greens.

  • […] bean brownies for about a week now. At first, I wasn’t even going to create a recipe, as Ricki Heller’s looked so good that I was just planning on making hers (sometimes I just want someone to take the guess work out […]
